Another Successful Log Jam
by Lt J. Strohecker, S (aka Pole Dancer)
Warm weather, blue sky, and a lot of people and friends on boats is the best
way to describe Lake Murray Power Squadron's first "Log Jam" of the year on 7
June 2008. Starting at 1100 and going until dark when most folks abandoned our
bi-annual raft-up, we documented thru expert and precise documentation (or as
close a possible) the following information:
 | Member boats: 44 |
 | People on member boats: 113 |
 | Non-member boats: 42 |
 | People on non-member boats: 147 |
 | Vessel Safety Checks completed during the raft-up: 15 (per Mack &
Vicki) |
 | Incidents documented: None; and so goes the first opportunity for
"Rusty Anchor" nominees |
 | People getting naked: None; at least that we are aware, after all
children were for most of the day |
 | Cases of self-induced head trauma (aka Hang-over): Several possible
cases were observed, but none were documented by the cruise leader. |
