The Season's First Official Cruise:

Shake 'N Break 2008

Well, we had a great lunch and 25 boats received Vessel Safety Checks as more than a dozen inspectors joined the party. However, the boating was not what it has been in the past. Only six boats ventured out toward No Name Cove after lunch, and three of those peeled off and headed home in misty rain before reaching our goal. The remaining boats made it as far as No Name Cove when weather reports of an expanded tornado watch sent us to Flotilla where we waited out the weather before heading back to Jake's Landing to find P/C Archie Trawick teaching his daughter Hannah how to clean up storm debris.
