Lake Murray Inspects 416 Boats

Lake Murray Power Squadron's team of certified examiners under the leadership of 2009 VSC Chairmen Lts Vicki and Mack McGahee have conducted Vessel Safety Checks (VSC) on 416 boats. Their goal was to inspect 400 boats, 78 more than the 323 inspected in 2008.

But just because they have met their goal, doesn't mean it is too late to get your boat inspected! Just e-mail Lts Vicki and Mack McGahee and they will arrange to have one of Lake Murray's certified VSC Examiners inspect your vessel to insure that key marine safety equipment is present, is within prescribed functional limits, and is compliant with federal, state, and local regulations. There is no charge for this service.
